Haozee Tuya Smart Zigbee Soil Tester Temperature and Humidity Meter Thermo Hygrometer Garden Automation Irrigation Detector

The delivery was faster than stated. The sensor can be easily registered and operated with a Conbee 2 Zigbee stick. It runs on regular AAA batteries!! Changing the batteries is very easy. The sensor's values (temperature and soil moisture) are displayed in the DeConz software and seem to be almost accurate. Unfortunately, the soil moisture values cannot be used for automation in the software. I use Openhab to operate it with Zigbee valves for irrigation.

I bought two to test their accuracy and both read the exact same values in all tests i did, so the calibration seems well done! The only annoyance is that they report an empty battery when they are still able to run so its hard to know if they need their batteries replaced. This also means that its harder to use rechargeable batteries as they have a nominally lower voltage anyway so the sensors just think they are low on battery all the time. The important thing is that they seem to be fairly accurate.

Works perfectly with Home Assistant via Zigbee MQTT.

This is already my second order. Delivered perfectly, works flawlessly in Tuya and Smart Life for more than 6 months (indoor use). Unfortunately, you cannot set an alarm for humidity and temperature warnings, so one star off.

Everything works perfectly, it displays and measures correctly. The only downside is that there is no temperature calibration and the battery charge level doesn't display accurately. I installed new batteries, but the sensor shows an average charge of 42%, which isn't a big issue for me!
